The module CAN-PCI/266 is a low cost PC board designed for 66 MHz PCI bus systems that uses a PCI bus width of 32 bits or in 33 MHz PCI bus systems at a bus speed of 33 MHz. The fully ISO 11898 compliant CAN interfaces allow a data transfer rate of 1 Mbit/s, is opto-isolated, and, among many other features, has the ability to set the bit rate through the software. Software drivers are available for Windows, Linux, QNX and other operating systems upon request. Please note: The performance of the host CPU may limit the maximum effective CAN bit rate value because this is a passive CAN module without a microcontroller on-board.
